In accordance with the ancient rules and ahdname, the Venetian merchants and rençbers (workers) are exempted from taxes such as avarız, ispençe, nuzul etc. However, a certain Jewish official, Alkas, and some othersdemand such taxes from the Venetians which is against the ahdname and rules. The sancakbey and kadı are ordered to stop these people and act in accordance with the ahdname and the orders sent previously about the same issue.
